  • Ms. Michelle Xu is Head of Corporate Finance of Admiralty Harbour Financial Group.
  • Ms. Xu has approximately 12 years of investment banking and corporate finance experience from working with global investment banks and Hong Kong listed corporate.
  • Prior to Admiralty Harbour, Ms. Xu was the Vice President and Board Executive Director of Ta Yang Group Holdings Limited, an SEHK mainboard-listed Hong Kong corporate, where she oversaw M&A activities and capital market transactions, as well as the group’s strategies and operation.
  • Prior to Ta Yang Group, Ms. Xu was a Director at UBS Investment Bank in Hong Kong. She worked in the China investment banking team, executing equity and debt capital market transactions for Chinese corporates. Previously, she worked in the Real Estate, Lodging and Leisure investment banking team, assisting her clients in equity and debt financing, M&A and restructuring exercises, with a specific focus on Hong Kong and South East Asia real estate and Macau gaming sectors.
  • Prior to UBS, Ms Xu worked at Macquarie Capital Advisers' Real Estate investment banking team in London and Hong Kong, executing IPO and M&A transactions, and private placement in Europe for Asia strategy funds.
  • Notable transactions included:
    • Debt restructuring of China Shuifa Singyes Energy Holdings Limited;
    • Consent solicitation of China Minsheng Investment Group, and exchange offer of China Oceanwide, among others;
    • USD bond offerings of Ronshine China, China South City, China Oceanwide, Xinhu Zhongbao, Chenming Paper, Hongkun, COLI, New World Development, Wanda, Haitian, Regal REIT, Asia Standard, Hysan Development, Champion REIT, Melco Crown, Guoco Group, Alam Sutera, among others, and a series of private bond placements;
    • Senior secured credit facilities of Melco Crown, MGM China and Wynn Macau;
    • Private placement of Asia-strategy funds for fund managers such as Goodman, COLI and Asia Pacific Land;
    • US, Hong Kong and Philippines IPOs of JD.com, China Everbright Bank, Huishang Bank, Top Spring, Jingrui, and Melco Resorts and Entertainment (Philippines), and a series of equity placements;
    • M&A transactions such as M3 Capital’s acquisition of UK motorway service station portfolio from Swayfields, acquisition of Ta Yang Group Holdings Limited and its subsequent asset injections
  • Ms. Xu holds a Master of Philosophy degree in Real Estate Finance from University of Cambridge, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Statistics from University College London
